First of all, don’t. Just don’t. But if you must, here’s the driver to get the ethernet port to work on a Mac Mini under OpenSolaris. You’re welcome.

I’m planing to build myself a little HomeServer on Solaris with ZFS… You realy don’t advise me to use solaris on a Mac Mini ? I should choose another computer ?
Please mail me back…
At the time I wrote this there was a massive flaw with updating OpenSolaris, which meant it was very easy to kill your system hard enough to require a reinstall. As far as I know that’s now fixed, so there are only two reasons not to do it now:
1. I don’t like (Open)Solaris – but if you’re comfortable with it, then it’s a good choice for you.
2. Macs already come with a pretty good OS – it might not be quite as fast as Solaris, but it’s preobably good enough for a home server.
