Having a small problem with links from the site at the moment; the links themselves are fine, but the comments I attach get mangled. Normal service will be resumed with the next beta release of Pivot.

As promised, I’ve now shifted over to Pivot. I’m sure there are many things that are broken, certainly anything that doesn’t appear on this page is questionable. With regret I have also left your fine, fine comments behind as well. The good news is you can hurl abuse at me with renewed vim and zest, as the comment system makes few demands on you, my dear reader.
Please comment your criticisms, even those regarding the accidental Aston Villa colour scheme, and I shall endeavour to css your troubles away.
Having settled in with the new Blogger, I’ve decided that I don’t feel particularly comfortable here. I’m coming to the conclusion that happiness is closely linked to relative comfort, whether it’s being comfortable with your job, your body shape, or just your car. So I’m thinking of shifting this outlet-mall of thoughts that I know you all depend on so fleetingly to a different service, most probably Pivot. So if you see some changes that’s what it is, and if you have alternate recommendations for something that requires minimal services (this, as Tarzan so wisely said, is my domain, but not my server) I’m listening.
On a related note, one of my collection of friends named Andy is back to blogging after a bit of a stutter-start. It’s worth sticking with him, as he is one of those people who are just a step up on the average middle-class college grad (that’s a deprecating self-reference, in case you’re not following) when it comes to well-rounded thought.
So many posts with actual content to make. Perhaps on Sunday…
(edit: yes, I know the Pivot link was wrong!)
Blogger have updated their service, so you’ll see a few small changes here. The biggest is that comments are now provided without an external tweak. This means I’ve removed my previous commenting system, so while the information is stored away in a db somewhere, we may never see it again.
I took a minute to do a quick design refresh at lunchtime. Nothing much, just adding in the header image from the photo gallery and tidying a couple of things. I may do a little more later. I should also mark the end of Gregg Easterbrook’s blog over at The New Republic; I shall move quickly to find somebody else’s opinions to pass off as my own.
*Yes, I know it was Episode IV, no I don’t care, it was just a weak joke because I’m not used to having titles for my posts
